Biography
Kelly Waldek lives in Swindon with her husband and children, and has been illustrating full time since she graduated in 1998 with a first class honours degree in Graphic Design from Bath Spa University College.
For the most part her work is children’s book and editorial based.
Her style carries a fluid simple feel, but packs a punch with strong line and a sometimes subversive edge.
Her fast-paced method of working combines a hand drawn ink line, with a digital, sometimes textured or collage colour.
