Alison Jay Working 9-5!

Congratulations go out to our exceptional illustrator Alison Jay this month, as her gorgeous children's book, 'Welcome to the Zoo' had been bought by Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. Sponsored by the Dollywood foundation the library offers up free books to go out to children under five right across the USA, Canada and now parts of the UK to encourage them to get into read. A huge 148,000 copies will be snapped up by the library and will be winging their way to thousands of lucky children on both sides of the Atlantic! Well done Alison!

With 9 years of experience in the business and 25 children's books to her name, Violeta really is a success. This was reinforced in 2008 when she gained an entry into the publication of the top 200 illustrators working today. Check out more of her great work here.

His strong drawing skills combine with charm and style to create his unique work. His lavish black and white work is reminiscent of the fabulous Aubrey Beardsley, with bold design and attention to detail perfect for book illustration.
