Biography
I was born in 1976 and studied Illustration at Manchester Metropolitan University, from where I graduated in 1999 with a first. I have been represented by The Organisation ever since.
I have worked on a wide variety of commissions for clients including many of the major UK publishers as well as numerous magazines, the BBC, Christian Aid, and Singapore Airlines.
Recently I worked on the "Barefoot Books World Atlas" which was a huge project. The book has been a top seller and has been featured on BBC television. An App for the iPad based on the book will be available soon.
My work tends towards the exotic and colourful (I seem to be on an unplanned but very enjoyable mission to travel the world from the comfort of my studio!), and I enjoy incorporating hand lettering and decorative elements where I can. Everything is painted by hand in acrylic on paper.
I currently live in Cheshire with my two cats, where, if I'm not at the drawing board, I'm out and about walking the hills with my camera.
